Fun, Silly Teasing – this type of teasing is done in a playful, joking way.  Both the teaser and the teased are having fun.

 

 

Hurtful Teasing – this type of teasing is done by a teaser who is trying to be mean and hurtful.

 

 

Oops Teasing – this type of teasing is done in a playful, joking way by the teaser, but the one being teased does not see the fun.  Although the teaser doesn’t mean to be hurtful, the teased’s feelings are hurt.

 

 

Reporting – is when you talk to someone you trust about a problem because you or someone else may be harmed.

 

 

Tattling – is when you tell some one about a problem just to get someone in trouble, to get your own way, or to make yourself look good.
