Moving Mountains: A Mind-Body Tool Kit to Calm Explosive, Reactive and Anxious Children

Sometimes well-planned interventions with children in distress don’t work as planned, and can even make situations worse. In this presentation, participants will learn tools to assess a child’s “zone” of agitation and to effectively intervene using a wide range of mind-body techniques and tools. During the workshop, participants will have a chance to create a tool kit binder of helpful interventions.
