Infant & Early Childhood Highlight

Originally published in 2006 as “A Guide to Early Childhood Mental Health,” the revised and updated version of the MN Association for Children’s Mental Health reflects recent advances in the field of early childhood, including the growing field of infant and early childhood mental health.

The guide focuses on infants and young children, beginning prenatally and extending to six years of age. In keeping with Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH) principles, it also focuses on children’s parents and caregivers and the relationships between them.
