The 12th Annual Child and Adolescent Mental Health Conference had two optional tracks attendees could opt into: the Infant and Early Childhood Track and the Juvenile Justice Track.  

Featured keynote speakers included Dr. Laurence Steinberg and Dr. Richard Whitefield.

Dr. Steinberg presented “Adolescent Brain and Behavioral Development: Implications for Mental Health and Juvenile Justice,” looking at what had been learned in recent years about brain development during adolescent and its impact on behavior.

Dr. Whitefield presented “Reliable Love: Innate Need, but Learned Capability.”
