In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, MACMH hosted it’s 25th Annual Child & Adolescent Mental Health Conference virtually.  

Keynotes in 2021 were Dr. David Williams, PhD, MPH, MA, and author John Moe.  

Dr. Williams shared, “Addressing Racism to Create Healthy Environments for All of Our Children,” which explored research on the adverse effects of racism on children and persistent racial/ethnic inequities that impact child well-being, including both mental and physical health. 

Moe presented “The Other Healing: Trauma and Mental Recovery After COVID,” explaining how to understand our individual and collective suffering and what could be done about it during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
