The 15th Annual Child and Adolescent Mental Health Conference hosted a fundraiser for Fidgety Fairy Tales by selling fun promotional MACMH mug.  

Featured keynote speakers included Dr. L. Alan Sroufe and Dr. L. Read Sulik.  

Dr. Sroufe’s keynote was titled “Resilience and Disturbance as Outcomes of Development: How Early Relational Experience Shapes the Development of the Person,” addressing the nature of development, how later development builds upon earlier foundations, and how and why early experience is carried forward.  

Dr. Sulik’s keynote, “Soothing the Unrest: Calming the Angry, Anxious, and Defiant Child,” focused on a fast-paced world that is over stimulating, stressful, and often “toxic” for some children.
